Laser therapy

Periodontitis can cause serious problems to the periodontal apparatus. With the help of our additional laser therapy we can reduce the pathology in the gingival pockets many times over and it is very effective in combination with our periodontal therapy.

With the help of a photoactivatable colouring agent, which attaches to the membranes of bacteria, followed by the activation of our LED-Laser which releases oxygen radicals to destroy the bacteria. Endogenous cells will not be killed by this procedure and the local immune defence mechanism gets the chance to defend against pathogen.
