Modification of occlusion

We change the occlusion with the help of a digital functional analysis in combination with osteopathy to restore the physiological occlusion in patients with the following symptoms:

• Pain in the jaw joint,
• Nightly parafunctional habits (e.g. bruxism),
• Daily headaches, migraines,
• Muscle tenseness in the neck and back.

Usually we begin with the functional analysis and a splint therapy, then the situation of the bite is realized in long-term temporary restorations. When the patient is no longer displaying symptoms we transfer this occlusion into so-called table-tops. Table-tops are all-ceramic chewing-surface-veneers, which we stick onto the molars with the help of adhesive bonding.
